Up for auction in my Ebay store is this compilation of hard-boiled detective stories from Black Mask Magazine entitled, The Hard Boiled Detective. These stories, published between 1920 and 1951, are edited, with introduction, by Herbert Ruhm. It is a first edition from 1977 on the Vintage Books imprint.
